Hirota Glass Original Soy Sauce Cruet
Hirota Glass Original Soy Sauce Cruet
The original dripless soy sauce cruet, Hirota Glass’s classic design was introduced in the 1970s. The creative minds at the company discovered the keys to a non-leaking spout, and forever changed the history of soy sauce dispensers. In fact, this cruet is part of the permanent collection at the Tokyo National Museum of Modern Art.
A cruet is a practical dispenser if you often use condiments such as soy sauce, vinegar or olive oil at the table. But when you cook with ingredients like soy sauce or vinegar, a cruet is essential for distributing just the right amount of liquid, with an even, steady pour. Seasoning with a cruet becomes much easier due to the consistency of the pour.
Founded in Kinshi, Sumida ward, Tokyo in 1899 by Kinta Hirota, Hirota Glass has established itself as one of the pioneers of Japanese glassware.
