    Indispensable as a brush for scrubbing and cleaning many kitchen items, tawashi are best suited for scrubbing tasks where soap is not used. Tawashi is highly recommended for scrubbing any kitchen item made of wood, as using soap removes the natural oils from the wood. This is especially true for cutting boards made of wood, and is the reason these little brushes are one of the best accessories for maintaining your prized kitchenware. 

    Available here in three sizes, we strongly recommend having one for each task, such as scrubbing vegetables, scrubbing your cutting board, or scrubbing your cast iron pan (they work especially great for cast iron griddles)
