    Description

    The Tonbow Soy Sauce Cruet is a 320ml squeeze bottle with a soft polyethylene body and a penguin shape. Press it gently and a small, controlled amount pours out, and release it and the flow stops. That makes it as useful at the table for soy sauce as it is at the stove for measuring out mirin, sake, vinegar, oil and other thin liquids while you cook.

    The rounded body fits comfortably in one hand, and at about 40g it is light and easy to handle. It is a long-standing fixture on Japanese tables and in restaurant kitchens. The body is heat resistant to 70°C (158°F), so it is best kept beside the stove rather than over the heat.
