Description
Tenugui are traditional Japanese cloths with a variety of uses, such as wrapping bento boxes, carrying water bottles, a drying towel for the kitchen, as well as a decoration piece.
Though they vary in size, the Tenugui Classified Stripes towel is mostly square in shape, measuring at about 50 x 50cm.
Made from Shantung cotton, which has a firmer, somewhat bumpy texture, Hamamonyo is famous for also using Nassen, a traditional stencil dyeing method from Yokohama.
Tenugui provide both everyday utility as well as classic visual appeal for your kitchen and home.
