Suri Urushi Chopsticks Hinoki 22cm

The Suri Urushi Hinoki Chopsticks offer a firm, non-slip grip, along with a fine tipped edge, which is excellent for dining or cooking. With a variety of uses, these chopsticks are especially good as a shorter saibashi (cooking chopsticks). The longer Saibashi is available too. 

Overall, I use these chopsticks for cooking as much as I use them for dining. If I am preparing something of smaller quantity and there is not a lot of steam or oil, these chopsticks are the perfect size. 

Yamacoh, founded in 1972, is based in Natsugawa, Gifu Prefecture, specializes in natural wooden products. Their Youbi brand can be described as ‘functional beauty.’ Youbi’s wood products are primarily made from Japanese cypress, hinoki and sawara. These skilled craftsmen produce refined products that are delicately lined, with smooth beautiful surfaces.
