Unlike traditional bamboo mats, the polypropylene construction resists bacteria, does not absorb moisture or odors, and can be sanitized thoroughly after each use — making it well suited to professional kitchens where hygiene standards are strict, and equally practical for home cooks who want a mat they can actually clean properly.

    The mat body is polypropylene threaded with nylon, giving it the flexibility to roll tightly while holding its shape over repeated use.
