Absorbent Cloth

All around useful, these absorbent cloths are particularly excellent for use when sharpening kitchen knives and wiping cutting boards. The cloths can easily absorb or retain just the right amount of moisture, so you can easily wipe clean your blade, or lightly moisten your hinoki cutting board, as they tend to dry fast. 

Sold in a pack of two, the absorbent cloths are durable and reusable. And with limitless uses, the cloths make for an indispensable kitchen accessory, as is the Flat-Sided Spray Bottle, which is a great companion piece.

Overall, I love these cloths because they easily absorb swarf, the grayish, blackish residue that's produced from sharpening, which accumulates on the knife. Keeping the blade clean with the cloth makes for a much better sharpening session. And, instead of a soaking wet towel, the absorbent cloth can dampen a wood cutting board, especially hinoki wood boards because they dry quickly. When dry, you can easily cut the cloth into smaller squares, making for a more compact cloth. Highly recommended.
