Sharpening Station Kit Extra Short

A Sharpening station kit that features a low, wide and sturdy sharpening box and works well for splash-and-go whetstones, as the water capacity is low. Also included is the Marie Whetstone Holder, available in four different colors. This holder offers a quick, easy loading feature, as well as a compact design that fits the box perfectly. And finally, the Hasegawa Non-Slip Mat provides a stable, zero-slip base under the sharpening station.

Overall, this sharpening box kit has a super low profile and works great if you don't rely on large amounts of water when sharpening. When I sharpen knives in this box, I use a spray bottle to moisten whetstones, as well as the Marie Whetstone Holder, which fits neatly inside, requiring no other attachments. When working as a chef, often I would need to quickly setup and sharpen my knives, but the sharpening kits I tried were either too big or too small, requiring space and/or cleanup I wanted to avoid. As a solution to the issue, this kit is a unique size, and looks attractive enough that I don't mind storing this in or near my kitchen.
