Sabitoru Rust Eraser Rough

The Sabitoru Rough is the coarsest option in the Sabitoru rust eraser line — built for heavier surface rust, deep discoloration, or corrosion that has had time to set in. Where the Medium and Fine work on surface-level spotting and early rust, the Rough handles the situations they cannot: a neglected carbon steel knife, a pan left wet, or steel that has been sitting without oil through a humid season.

The abrasive block works by direct contact — press the eraser face against the rusted surface and work in short strokes along the grain of the steel. The coarse grit cuts through oxidized material quickly without requiring soaking, chemical treatment, or aggressive scrubbing. Because of the coarser abrasive, expect light surface marks on polished steel after use — the Rough is a starting point, not a finishing tool. Follow with the Medium or Fine to restore the surface, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
