    Description

    A compact, sturdy sharpening box imported from Japan, making a perfectly sized kitchen sharpening station. This is the ultimate grab-and-go sharpening box, as it accommodates most spaces, provides adequate depth to hold all the water you need, and can easily hold your entire kit for quick access. 

    Suehiro's Stone Holder fits this box perfectly, and is highly recommended, as it and the box are uniquely sized. Also highly recommended, Hasegawa's 400 x 200mmNon-Slip Mat, which provides a stable, non-slip surface, and fits neatly inside when stored away.

    Overall, this sharpening box, coupled with the Stone Holder by Suehiro, makes a sharpening kit that I have been researching for years. When working as a chef, often I would need to quickly setup and sharpen my knives, but the sharpening kits I tried were either too big or too small, requiring space and/or cleanup I wanted to avoid. This box, as well as the Short Sharpening Box are what I believe to be a solution to this problem. And, with an attractive look, I don't mind storing this in or near my kitchen.
